The campus ambiance is similar to a Gurukul, but with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. Round the clock security and closed circuit television (CCTV) monitoring of public areas within the campus protects University community and property.

The faculty at JKU are experts in their respective fields, with an intense desire to teach and guide the students to success. Vision of JKU

Jagadguru Kripalu University will evolve students with inspired minds and illumined intellects, and mould them into responsible leaders and pillars of society. On completion of their education, students will be well-prepared both mentally and physically to venture into their careers with confidence.

The University will provide world-class education in the fields of Humanities, Sciences, Technology, Medicine, Indian Culture and Performing Arts. It will create centres of excellence of global standards, promote research and develop a knowledge base within the country to help usher Odisha and India into the Age of Knowledge.

The University will innovate, develop and offer world-class education in the fields of Yogic Sciences, Mind-management and Naturopathy. It will create new career options in these fields by training brilliant, dynamic and service-oriented teachers, with the potential of conducting classes for corporate houses, industries, educational institutions and the general public.

The University will set an ideal amongst educational institutes for social responsibility and principled practices. It will initiate schemes for the economic, societal and ethical growth of the neighbouring communities. Mission of JKU

Jagadguru Kripalu University will endeavour to foster the intellectual and personal growth of its students. It will provide them with a strong base in theoretical knowledge through courses in traditional and avant-garde subjects, utilizing modern pedagogy, cutting-edge research and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

The University will provide a platform for Academic Excellence, and function as a learning resource centre. It will conduct national level and international level conferences and seminars to provide opportunities for sharing of knowledge.

The University will enter into mutually beneficial relationships with Industrial Houses, Corporations and Public Sector Institutions. Concerted efforts will be undertaken to equip students with hands-on experience in the industry. Faculty, researchers, and students will be encouraged to undertake innovative projects and develop pioneering techniques.

JKU will focus on the all-round development of the mind, body and spirit of the students, to prepare them to succeed in every situation in life. It will identify the hidden talents in students, and encourage them to think out of the box. Our Philosophy

Hence, Jagadguru Kripalu University has coined its motto as “उद्धरेत् विद्यया आत्मानम् ”, which means, ”elevate yourself through knowledge.”

We firmly believe that the student years are foundational to making one’s future life a successful, happy and fulfilling one. Thus, education must aim to effectively cultivate knowledge, impart skills, boost confidence, and develop the personality.

However, for transforming lives, mere theoretical knowledge is insufficient; students must also hone the ability for its practical application. At JKU, we will equip the youth with both theoretical scholasticism and practical wisdom to unleash the power of knowledge within.
